Introduction

A coupling pin is a cylindrical surface connector, usually made of metal. Many coupling pins have parallel cross holes at each end where a key can be inserted to hold them in place. Custom-fitted coupling pins may only be held in place by surface pressure. The pin is a standard part that can be used as a positioning part to determine the mutual position of the parts, it can also play a coupling role to transmit lateral force or torque, or as a safety device in the overload cut-off parts.
